I know it's tough and I can't even imagine how you feel or what you're going through. Know all of us are thinking of you. Pls keep us posted as to what happens.
Try your best to dig up any proof you have and take it with you. Are you able to get statements from anyone? I know he had a visit the same day and no one saw marks or anything. Pls see if someone will make statements in writing to this affect. Have your attorney fight this bunch of garbage tooth and nail! And after this is over, sue CPS for not backing you and allowing this false allegations to continue.

So sorry to hear this. Sending prayers your way...
This is what we were concerned to have happen. We felt like having our FD in our home was like playing w/fire. Any allegation can happen.

I can't believe they would actually put him in jail for this. Bail should be easy to get. He will need a good public attny.
About the job, he might want to see a doctor about stress. It seems as if he would be under a lot. If the doctor recommends he goes on stress-induced disability, they might have a harder time firing him. I'm not an HR manager, but I've seen disability and family medical leave save people their jobs in times of diress. Prayers to you for a fair judicial ruling.
