We were falsely accused of abuse last August. Investigation cleared us, but it apparently remains on our record for SIX years.
Anyone successully had an allegation expunged from their record? How?

I'm not sure, but you might try talking with an atty. They would know if/how it can be done.

We were involved in an investigation last year. Birth mom had voluntarily placed her infant with us for adoption. The baby was with us for a couple weeks before his injuries became known. The CPS investigator was the one who told us to do the foster-adopt program. We were told that if the final disposition said we had been "ruled out" we could get ourselves taken out of the registry. There was quite a process that would have been needed, but they were willing to help us. Fortunately, we were listed as "no role." You might want to ask what the final disposition was and go from there.

I have a copy of the report that lists NO CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT and we were cleared. I guess I can call CPS/DLR to learn from THEM how to get it off our record.
