Very, very sudden placement
I woke up this morning NOT a foster parent. We havent been licensed in years and were adamant we were not EVERRRRRRR going to go through that again.
I am about to receive two baby girls 2 month and 14 months. We got a call from the social worker who is a personal friend, they had no placement for these sisters so they were going to be separated. They asked if we would consider. Maybe I should point out I had cancer surgery two weeks ago. We said yes. We are insane. PRAY FOR US and these two little ones. Jen

Oh Jen, it is obvious that God has chosen you to care for these little ones. I am glad you have decided to take them. Enjoy them. There is nothing like little ones to take your mind off of things. I had no idea you had cancer surgery. You will be in my prayers.

wow. CONGRATS!!! How exciting! Report back and tell us how it goes.
My current placement was a fast shocker too. I was called at work and told there was a newborn that had to be picked up in 30 minutes ...they said I had 5 minutes to give them an answer or they were moving on to the next person. whoa...it was SOOOOO exciting!  Now my baby is 6 months and we are all on cloud 9!

They are here and settling in. My boys love them
I alternatively think we were nuts to agree and consider calling the social worker to have them moved and then thinking WOW this is SOOOOOO God. LOL Oh well. It will settle down.

Wow!!! How exciting! I remember you were in touch with me awhile back about my DS and how he is doing about being adopted (thinking of searching for birth family)...
Anyway, congratulations! That is SO fantastic! I wish you and them all the best!
