Finally got her to sleep in the crib!!

Finally, after 8 months of baby girl sleeping in her swing, I finally bit the bullet and made her sleep in her crib. She woke after about an hour like she usually does. I comforted her and left the room. She cried for about 20 minutes and I comforted her and left the room again. Then she cried for 3 minutes and fell silent. Didn't wake until 5am. I am soooooooooooo pleased. When she was a newborn, she had colic and cried and cried and the swing was teh only place where she would sleep for any length of time. I knew that eventually I would have to transfer her to the crib, but have been dreading it. But with her pending reunification, i think it is definitely in her best interest to be accustomed to her crib. Plus, she's getting too big for the swing. I just feel so good that I didn't break down and put her back in the swing. Yea!!!

Yeah! I know you were excited and thankfully she did pretty well.

What a huge step! May she continue to sleep peacefully in her crib.
