Can't stand this waiting game!!!

It's one thing to feel antsy waiting for a placement...then I finally got my placement. But waiting to see if you can keep her? It's a killer! I can't stand the wait!!!!! TPR is happening June. But there's an interested grandmother who was rejected until/if she gets her stuff together. It's crazy to me that she has unlimited time to do this (until/if we finalize the adoption). I want June to come quicker so I could feel like some progress is happening!! We have nothing happening between now and June! Ugh!

Yes, the waiting and the uncertainty is the hardest thing to take. With me, it was the maddening delays in TPR- it was SUPPOSED to take place in January, but kept getting held over (2 or 3 times) until it finally happened at the end of August. 8 months! And you know why? Because the bios weren't co-operating with their own lawyers. I was surprised the judge would give them chance after chance when they so clearly were just stalling on purpose. The REAL kicker is that the TPR trial in August lasted less than half an hour, because when they showed up they voluntarily signed off!

We were supposed to be done in September, but an attorney had to have surgery. Then it was supposed to be in October, but that became permanency. So did January. The judge finally said no take backs! He rearranged his schedule to be in this particular county so he could hear this case. It starts in 13 days. I am a nervous wreck!

I just so want this over.

And also, everybody who is not my family out of my life! That would be wonderful.
