I know, I know...

it's not official till the ink dries on the finalization paperwork but the caseworker said that she is CONFIDENT we'll be able to adopt Libby.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Has anyone else had a fast track foster adoption in TX? Caseworker seems to think that TPR could happen around the 6 month in care mark.

I'm in TX, and we were kind of told that we'd fast track the kids, but that was 12 months ago. We're going to TPR in April....

May I offer my tentative congratulations?

I'm not in TX, but our CW told us today that she is going to apply for TPR in March, at the 6 month mark, so I also am cautiously optimistic. We have had our FS since he was 6 days old and he is now 4 months.

My foster kids that just moved to a relative will be TPR'd in early Feb which is a little more than the 6 month mark. The judge wanted to fast track TPR after about a month into care because of the situation. The relatives will be adopting.(I'm in Texas)
