Unhappy First Home Visits and I am nervous

Well my little babies are having their first visit home. I know that it is going to be monitored..but it still makes me nervous. I know that this is the first step for TPR to happen..but.....
I did find out that they are also going to make one of the visits (they have three) in a public place, like McDonalds. They are also going to make the visits nearer to my house so that the parents will have to make an effort to get there. Right now the visits are about a block away from their house and in a very controlled enviroment. DCFS are telling us that they are trying to place the visits in a more realistic setting. So we are being told that this is for the good of the children.
It still scares me. I worry that something will happen to them.....

I hear you.

The kids originally had visits at McD's but there were issues of supervision. Their family is from a town almost 2 hours away. The McD's was neutral territory. Now family is demanding that I bring the kids to them 2 times a month. I have to take the entire day off work because where I teach and where I live are 20 minutes apart. I'd teach about 2 hours and still get docked for the whole day!

The best for the kids? Not really, but it is necessary to bring this to an end.

Apparently lots of us are in this little ole boat!
