And now the peeing starts

Bubba's post visit behaviors are straightforward and often downright mean. But, at least I can deal with angry, regardless of how it makes me feel.

Sissy Lou Who is another story.

She started crying at night after kisses, prayers and goodnights. Not just crying, big old heartbroken sobbing. We got over that the day before the last visit. Now she just pees in her pants.

Sissy is nearly 3 1/2. She's been potty perfect for several months. And she's still doing well, except for bedtime. And it's not a whole bladder-full of pee, just a few drops. But she sits up in bed and cries like her heart will break, "I peeeee my paaaants! Are you maaad at meeee?" Insert sobs and you get the picture.

Visit was Friday. We've had 3 fun-filled nights. She got me up before 4 a.m. today. I am not maaaad at her. I am saaad for her. Insert sobs.

Occassionally, however, I am MAAAD at Bubba! He's a toot, but a very resilient one!

We've returned to a very structured home time, dinner only at the table, limited time with the TV, lots of rocking, etc. I know this will pass. Bubba is doing lots less of the aggression thing since the return of the immovable schedule, but Sissy not so much. And gaaah I hate the immovable schedule.

I want my secure babies back!

Sorry, no advice, but I do wish you good luck. Hopefully things will return to normal soon.

I'm so sorry that is happened for them and you. I know it makes it worse when you have seen how good they are without the visits and then the trauma starts all over. Once again, it's not about what's good for the kids. It's about the parents.
