Rats!
Good news---we got an official letter from DA that adoption is course of action and named us as the family
Rats!---We have to resubmit and wait for a brand new ICPC! We already did one to get them here but that was for "foster." They want another one for "adoption." Darn that Idaho! What a waste of time! The first one took about 6 months. Not to mention, we have to wait on negotiating the subsidy and such. Oh well...at least it is headed the right direction....

April 07 completed PRIDE classes September 07 Home Visit completed October 07 Officially licensed to foster/adopt  Placed with two adorable FC May/2008 TPR-November/2008 3-6 months until we are final!!

Wow. Do you have the kids yet or does the ICPC need to all be completed and everything before you ever get the kids??
Glad things are moving forward...if even at a snails pace.

Yeah...happened to us too
 They file the ICPC as "foster" when the child is moved to your home and then when TPR occurs and adoption is filed then they have to do a completely NEW ICPC for "adoption." I think it's Idaho's way HA HA to stress us all out!
