feeling down...
I'm a recently licensed FP. have had two placements that were short. we're so anxious for a long term placement though. maybe we've made it hard because we have asked for them to place a little girl under the age of 6 and unfortunately, we can only take one child at a time, so we wait. i'm frustrated with waiting.

I totally know what you mean. We've been licensed for 6 months without a placement. We're only taking up to 2 kids ages 2 and under though, so I'm sure that's why. So, I guess I'm learning patience!

My children consist of: Bio daughters -Heather 26yr, Hollie 23 yr, Heidi 21 yr  Foster/adopted daughter- Brittney 22yr.  Private adopted son -Tyler 3yr.  Foster/adopted Daugher 8 yrs., Zoey Foster/adopted Son 7 yrs. Romeo : rolleyes: Current placements:, Foster daughter "Baby K" 2 month old  Foster daughter "Alley baby" 2 yr. old  Foster son "Blua Blua" 2.5 yr  And we have helped: Previous placements = 3 Previous respite = 2

even though we will take almost any age, either sex and we are specialized we went six months between placements. I called another agency and planned to switch (more urban area they have more placements) and got a sibling group from our original agency that day. Weird eh?
