Well after some hard decision making, Mr. Peabody is officially leaving tomorrow. It was a hard decision to push it this quickly but I felt I had no other alternative. I was really trying to make it past the holidays and to his therapeutic staffing.

I had to call the cops yesterday morning because he ran away. The day prior he got kicked out of the aftercare program. This morning he attempted to steal my cell phone, after he "helped" me to look for it for about 20 minutes. I found it in his backpack during his before the bus search. He then kicked, bit and punched me. I cannot make it...

He is leaving tomorrow to another foster home, I do feel the relief in sight but guilty at the same time. With all my personal issues, I just cannot give him my usual patience.

Please don't beat yourself up over this. You have done the very best you can under considerable strain.

I know it is easier said than done, been there done that, but it is the truth. Sometimes you have to think of your family, and yourself first.

Thank you for caring enough to feel the pain. It shows how much you care about Mr. Peabody, even through all the trials and tribulations.

Big hugz and luv to you....we can give every inch of our being and it still may not be enough. I am sure you did everything and beyond for Mr. Peabody. I saw your post and immediately was worried and thinking about you. Sorry you are going thru this and I hope the best comes out of all of this. That is all I can say and think for right now.

I think you've done the only thing you can do. Mr. Peabody needs more help than you can give him. You've got to keep yourself afloat in this difficult time, first and foremost. You can't help Baby Don King, Mr. Don Juan, and Mr. Touchy if you can't keep yourself together.

I feel terrible for Mr. Peabody. He so clearly has major psychiatric problems. I hope his new family can get him the help he needs. Do you know if they're moving him where he can be an only child?

Well the bad news is that they are moving him to another home with other kids (but fortunately they are all teens). I'm hoping that this home works well for him but don't have a good feeling. They are still going to do the therapeutic staffing to see if they can get him in under his behaviorial issues.

True to nature, he couldn't leave without a bang, he got suspended within 30 min. of getting there. Fortunately I called his CW and he offered to go get him and take him to his new home vs. after school. He apparently was aggressive and hit his teacher this morning (apperantly he did this yesterday too, but they didn't have enough time to send the referral).

I hope you're doing okay, and that Mr. Peabody had a good move. How are the other kids holding up? This must really be a hard time for them, especially for Mr. Don Juan. He's had a lot going on this month.

I hope Christmas can be a time for you and the three boys to spend a lot of time together. Some little boy hugs will be good for everybody!

I don't know if Tony told Don Juan about Peabody's move but I have a feeling he knows. Honestly, I think he'll be glad that he's gone. He no longer has to hide everything in fear of his stuff getting stolen.

I'm looking forward to a peaceful weekend with the little boys. Don Juan is actually getting kidnapped by my Mom and going to Universal Studios this weekend, then he's spending the week at her house until Wed. So it'll just be me, Touchy (who lately need an attitude adjustment, LOL) and Baby Don King (which I'm thinking of renaiming Elvis, LOL).

I"m glad Don Juan is doing okay. He must be a heck of a kid to deal so well with so many changes. You must love him like crazy.

What's up with Touchy's case plan? Sheesh, the poor kid has been in limbo for what, a year and a half? I'm surprised they're not speeding things up. Give those little boys a big kiss from me. My boy is now a big old kindergartener and is starting to think Mom's smooches are so uncool. I have to get my snuggles in right when he's waking up or I'm out of luck for the rest of the day!

Well Touchy is still on track for r/u (even though they have been on a concurrent caseplan for 17 months). His Dad so far is doing well with the 1 kid, and we are sorta waiting for Jan. to come where they will give him 1 more (probably the baby). If he does good with that then a month later Touchy will go. It's not only been 17 months, he's been in care for a total of 27 months, between the 1st ad 2nd removal. He's only been with his parent a total of 10 months of his life. The State is giving Dad this last chance, and he if he doesn't succeed, I guess TPR.

Luckily, Don Juan is a great kid, a little spoiled, but great. Luckily, he still kisses me in public, even in the 3rd grade.

TWENTY SEVEN MONTHS? That's inhumane. No kid should have to live without permanence that long. And what if Dad wipes out with all three kids? It's another move, another upheaval, another loss.

Dang it, this is just awful. I hope for Touchy that things are soon resolved one way or another.

Well the move was made and the weekend was EXTREMLY QUIET! A very much welcomed silence.

Well on my way in to work this morning I get a call from his CW and he told me that the house he went to on Friday was shut down (not for abuse or anything, for a unrelated issue) and that he's at the shelter now. I'm feeling guilty and would love to say that I would take him back but I won't. I'm just extremly sad for him, I do intend on going to see him on Christmas at the shelter, to give him his gifts. It's heartbreaking.
