Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!!!!!!

I can't even believe this! We aren't officially licensed (well, technically, I think one of the papers we signed today may have been the licensure, I don't know!) and we have a placement!!!

He's 7 and is adorable. He has such a light behind his eyes.

This is supposed to be "very temporary", as there is kin out there. But who knows. . .

He's in bed sleeping, clunching the "lovey" bear we let him pick out at Walmart.

I am now one of you!!!!!!! Any help or advice you can give would be so greatly appreciated! I know I'll be coming here often with joys and concerns!

Mar. 09 Second placement! FS 2-mo. (RU a couple weeks later)

New placements are soo exciting. Will you have him for the weekend? Maybe you can do some holiday things like drive around to see the lights, decorate cookies or even visit Santa. My daughter loved Santa at age 7. And my nephew is 8 and he still loves Santa as well.

Angel Duenas- 1/8/07 to 8/11/09. I miss my baby boy.

THERE ARE EIGHT DIFFERENT WAYS YOUR CHILD CAN DIE ON A CORDED WINDOW TREATMENT
Read "How Safe Cords Kill" at www.pfwbs.org

THREE CHILDREN HAVE STRANGLED TO DEATH SINCE ANGEL DIED ON 8/11/09.
Brandyn Coppedge died on 9/11/09. Rosie Smith died on 9/30/09 and Thapelo Kwofie died on 11/1/09. The Consumer Product Safety Commission is no longer recommending safety kits. They are now recommending that anywhere children live or visit should be free of corded window products.

SO happy for you! Enjoy!!!

I believe new placements are the reason fosterparents can go on fostering after the heartbreak of saying goodbye to a child/children!! There is always a new one to love and be loved by!!
