That was my mother's favorite saying!!! But she embellished it a little... She would say "I hope you have a dozen and they all are just like you!" I hope it comes true!

My mom (God rest her soul) was alway spewing some kind of "deeper meaning to life". I said I would never be like her, huge laugh there, I am just like her. I tell my kids all the time that they better listen to me because someday ill be gone and they will wish they would have.. their reply is "well if your gone we wont have to listen to you say I told you so" LOL...

and guess what....guess.....The curse the I hope you have kids just like you some day....it works even when you don't have them and adopt them! Dang it anyhow. Somewhere in heaven my Mom is rolling around on the clouds laughing at me!

I picture my mom rolling around on clouds laughing also!!

She has been gone for almost 16 years and I still miss her so badly...She usued to make "strawberry shortcake" it was just baked pie shells broken up and mixed with Strawberries...I make it once in a while just to feel close to her. My boys think I have gone off of my rocker when I do this because they know what strawberry shortcake is and they say THAT is not strawberry shortcake...
