Just Venting.

Ok I need to vent. Just to get it out of my chest. Im having one of those days. I got up to welcome aunt flow. Then I look outside and its snowing and cold. Teeney is sick so I have been up all night. Its going to be a cold day and where I live we get strong winds, so here it feels 5-10 degrees colder. So I decided to keep my son home from school, becouse I dont want to take Teeney out in this weather. He has a really nasty cough. So Punky sw is suppose to come today for a visit. Punky also has a visit with her dad. I was planning to call the sw to see if visit can be changed to tomorrow this week, punky's dad is really flexible. So sw calls me and tells me the roads are too dangerouse for her to be out driveing, so she canceled the visit at my home. I mentioned that Teeny is sick and if we could do it tomorrow since it will be a lot warmer. Nope-I need to be there today. So let me get this straight the roads are too dangerouse for her, but not for a mom with 5 young kids in a car. Hmmmm is there something wrong with the picture? Venting here. Im mad. I wanted to tell her something, but I held my tongue and smiled, while I insult her in my head. Thanks for listening

Sorry, but call them back, if it is too dangerous for the SW to be out then it is too dangerous for the children. PERIOD.

If they push it, then tell them to come and get her because you in good conscience cannot endanger the lives of children for their schedule.

I agree with everyone ,If the roads are to bad for the Sw then why aren't they to bad for you and the kids to be out! Is her safety more important ? Think not???

What? If the roads are too dangerous for the sw to drive on, then you and the kids shouldn't have to go out either. I hope you can get things resolved, and I applaud you on holding your temper...not easy to do with af around.

Well problem solved. Punky's dad called and said roads are bad and he does not want punky in them. So we are making it up next week. Im happy couse teeny is not feeling good, punky is still a little sick and my dd is complaining her throat hurts and mine is starting to tickle. DH is going to bring hot coco for me.. he is coming home early and work from home the rest of the day. . Yeah.
