I got a placement late tonight, around nine thirty.. it is a 1 year old boy (almost two) and a six month old girl. The six month has a broken leg (I will let you guys figure out how that happened). They are both beautiful kids.

I'm never sure how to respond to these threads. On one hand, I wanna congratulate you on your placement, and wish you all the best in the world...on the other hand, a baby with a broken leg makes me just want to cry.

I'm happy for you...but man, I wish foster care went the way of the dinosaurs, and was never needed...that make any sense?

thank you ladies and I do understand your concerns. It made me angry that the baby's leg is broken as well and the sad part is that the doctor believes it was deliberate because of the type of break.

These children are so beautiful, how could anyone want to harm them. The little boy drew a crowd at the bank and in the Target.

Court is in Fourteen days and at that time the judge will decide whether or not to give the mother another case plan. She did not follow the last one back in October and somehow I doubt she will this time. There is a history of trouble with this family, the mother's sister lost her kids which grandma has adopted but she does not want to adopt these two.

I was just about to PM you and ask if you've received another placement yet. And congrats...you've gotten two! I'm sad for them, but at least they are in a good home until something is worked out. Keep us posted!
