Funny haircut story!

My former THREE year old FD begged constantly to get her hair cut short like mine. Her biological father was totally against it and said her hair must be long. For one year I listened to this little one beg me for short hair. She even begged the hairdresser when I took her for a trim. THREE YEARS OLD! ...ohhh she was adorable.

She was reunited months ago and we're still in contact. Her mom often tells me that FD STILL asks to get her hair cut like mine.

Last week mom came by and told me that she walked in FD's room and found her cutting her own hair!!! (left with scissors, bad I know, that was my first thought). Her mom angerly said "what are you doing?" and FD replied "cutting my hair just like mama jenny's".

Mom had to take her to the hair cut store to get it all evened out and fixed.

I MISS MY LIL' ONE!!!!!! and a little part of me was happy that she was still thinking about how she wanted her hair like mine. I did however have the talk with her on why it was wrong, of course.

Just had to share!

Very cute

Our FD wants hers cut too. When we first received her, she had a mullet ish cut she had done. All scissors have to be put away immediately or she grabs them and starts sawing away at her hair. Ack! I think she would really like a cute bob, but we're respecting her bio mom's wishes. She's always pushing her bangs or stragglers from pony out of her face in disgust. She's so 3 going on 13. hehe
