Here I am waiting for my first call and I was wondering what time of day or night do you guys get calls?

I was thinking about it and for some reason I had in my head that it would be during work hours, then realized that might not be true.

I got the call while I was at work - they called my cell phone and I took the call. My FD has been with us for 14 months and we are on the road to adoption!!! I would guess it would be anytime of the day. The other calls I got were during the day as well for respite

I did a weekend respit for my FDs, then got a call about a month later during the day for placement.

I did, however, receive a call at midnight for a 13 yr old girl about 2 weeks ago, but had to decline because I didn't have room.

I got the call for both of my girls at work.

I have only got two calls for long term placements and they were both during the day. I thought we'd get calls at weird hours, especially when we got our specialized license a few months ago...nope.

All of our calls have been late afternoon between 2:30-5:00!

Our calls have been all over the board. We have had some in the middle of the night, some in the evening and many during the day. Some on weekends too.

Most of my calls have come between working hours 9-5, have had a call at 2am and another at 8p.

We got the call for our fs at about 10am and they dropped him off by noon.

The two calls I had to turn down we got between 5 and 8 pm.

The call for our fd came at 3pm and they dropped her off by 5pm.

one call was at about 2pm and the next a month later was at about 4:30 pm

one call for respite was around lunch time but was going to be for a few days later...we had to decline since we had plans already

my one and only call so far was around 3:00.

I got the call at 7:30 am on Monday morning. When that phone rang, I knew what it was before I could see the caller ID. My agency knows they can call 24/7.

So far, I've only gotten calls during working hours-usually late afternoon. I haven't had any evening or weekend calls.

I get calls all day long....

The latest was around 9/10 pm

We get called mostly during the day... we were called last month at 4 a.m. We got up and started getting everything we needed for the pending arrival of a teeny baby girl. Then, they called at 6 a.m. to say she wasn't coming!
