We're all done
Holy cow.... I'M A DAD!
I'm so happy and proud to announce that on September 11th, 2008 my wife and I FINALLY finalized the adoption of our three beautiful children. Gosh, I can't believe how long it's been since I've been on here. Work, kids, crazy schedules, and the passing of my father have made it next to impossible to stay connected on this site. This site was and will continue to be the life line for all foster and adoptive parents. My wife and I have decide to hang up our foster parenting hats for the time being so we can get some R&R without having to deal with the 'system' anymore. A heartfelt thanks to everyone over the last two years for their continued support, guidance, and prayers. It was a very long, frustrating and sometimes bitter road but the end result couldn't have been better! Dave

Licensed 7/5/06 Foster Parent to 12 children in two years Licensed expired (not renewed) 7/5/08 Adoption finalized on 9/11/08, I'm now the father to three beautiful children, and the husband to the most wonderful woman in the world!

We missed you on the boards..... I don't blame you for not wanting the "system" in your life anymore....I am still onmy long break since my adoptions were completed..but I am still licensed, just not takinig in kids....right now anyway.... Congrats to providing a 4-ever home to these 3!! I think it is wonderful that they have you and your wife to provide a safe, loving, and caring home for them.
