Exclamation I need some Help!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone! I am a Foster/Adopt parent in Idaho and I have been advocating for our state to include CPR and First Aid training as a requirement for licensing. I have been invited to speak before the committee on the 18th of the month in hopes of effecting this change. What I need to know is What states require this training already? That way I can tell the committee that for ( ex 45 out of 50 states) already require this.

Would those of you from other states please post in about whether or not you are required to have a First Aid CPR certification for your license? Any info would be beneficial

Thanks

This is the requirement in the MI handbook required training on "Emergency procedures, first aid, and fire safety." Doesn't specifically mention CPR... Although our private agency requires both. CPR every year and First Aid every three years...
Good luck
Sarah

In NJ - Not required for Basic license. Is required for those licensed to care for medically fragile children.
