Online Clothes Shopping

Okay I have been looking online all morning and can't find a good place to order some clothes online for our FD.

Does anyone know of a good place to shop and order clothes online?

She is a size 18 months.

We got a check this week for clothes, 150, and I thought it may be best to order online then go shopping with a 16 month old this weekend since it's tax free weekend.

Any ideas?

My favorite place to shop online is childrensplace.com. I love their stuff! I think it would be wiser to shop in the store though until you are sure how the brand will fit her. All clothes size 18 months are not exactly the same size. Shopping online makes it hard to return if the fit isn't quite right.

Well right now she is in the middle of the 12 and 18 month and is good on clothes for the summer but I wanted to order some winter clothes so I thought 18 month either way for pants and sweaters is something she can deff grow into.

Thanks!

Tax free weekend is only for you guys in Texas and I don't believe it applies to online retailers, unless they too are in Texas...but I could be wrong.

I don 't know if you have to buy new clothes, but friends of mine will buy a "bundle" of clothes of a given size on ebay (meaning a mom is selling all of her kid's 18 mo clothes, etc.). A lot of times even "never worn" clothes are included (I know I have clothes for DD that I never took the tags off of...ack!). They have gotten a whole peck of stuff for say $20! Good luck!

I think Target and Old Navy also have some good quality, reasonably priced kids' clothes.

Don't forget to check out the Big stores like Macy's JcPennys ect... They have some amazing deals on clearence online. It is kindof hit of miss with the right size, but $2-5 for clothes that were $15-40 is great.

FYI- Target is better in stores than online. I go to Target only because I usually can find super cheap stuff. We live in FL, so it's always summer and we always use summer clothes.

I second the vote on Ebay, I would look up "girl lot 18m". I have bought soooooo many nice things this way and most of it is brand new. You can really see if the items are up to your standards and it's a great way to make the money stretch. I have never been disappointed. Have fun, shopping is great no matter where you do it.

I have never shopped on ebay before. Do they give you a receipt since I have to show proof of purchase to our agency?

I love Ebay. Personally I have had wonderful experiences buying lots of clothing for my entire family. Just because it comes from Ebay doesn't mean that these are used items. So many times people overbuy and before the child is able to wear the clothes the season changes and they have outgrown them. When I was losing weight I got some great stuff through Ebay and was able to have a variety of clothes at all times.
The whole trick is to find a good seller and ALWAYS look at feedback before bidding. My neighbor dresses her little girls to the nines and all theior clothes come from Ebay and then she sells them to buy more as they out grow them. I swear these girls have never worn the same out fit twice.
EZ

I am an ebay girl myself, I have bought school clothes for all of my kids this year on ebay, I didn't go over $100 per kid AND most of it was brand new- or like new brand name stuff. For instance I got 7 new outfits for the baby boy (size 12 mos) for $20 including shipping and they were all really expensive stuff, like Rocawear, Fubu, Nike, Tommy and Gymboree.

You can get a receipt if you pay using a paypal account (free to use) and you can print it out right on your computer, i have used these recipets for our foster kids before and never had any problems.
