Hi. I picked up the girls on Saturday morning and they seemed to be in good humor. Said that things got better on Thursday and Friday and they actually had some fun. However, they both said that they didn't like camp and don't want to go back...even the mention of the park they were at, brings on groans. LOL.

But I have decided I made the right decision and that they needed to stay and complete the week...if they hadn't...they wouldn't have known that things got better.

They said(and the lead camp counselor too) that several little girls went home early after Family Night..and after the "whiney girls" left....things were better. But then the temperatures really got better too. Down from 100's to mid 80's and cool.

It was an experience I am glad they had. But next year they will attend a camp that has AC.....not so primitive conditions.

Thanks all for your comments and support. I needed the break from them for the week so it was good for me, but I wish that I hadn't worried so much. I'm just glad they are home and happy to be home.

It's good that things turned around for them at camp and they had some fun. Hope they learn something from it even if they don't realize it.
