for "pinkdancer" and "spiderman". They have been in care almost 8 mths. now. The case is concurrent. Alot will ride on the fact that their parents are both in jail for stealing and their criminal hearing has NOT happened and it depends on how much time they will get. They are serious drug users and the time they did not spend in jail these 8 months have not been spent on them trying to work their case plan. please pray for my kids!

only the bio-dad was in court and the bio-mom was not released from the jailhouse because they were looking her up under the wrong last name. He was all shackled up....and only asking about his wife, not his 6 kids. The hearing happened in this hallway with doors, with the judge and snenographer standing. All they said was that the children would remain in custody of the state and if the parents get out of jail they "could" work their caseplan. they had to say that. The worker told me later that the criminal judge in their case is real tough and when they get their criminal trial they will likely get the 6 yr sentence. We shall see. In the meantime, we wait and see.

Are they going to wait until after the criminal sentencing to formulate a plan for the kids?

yes, the case is concurrent right now....pending the sentencing. If it is long term, they will TPR.
