I don't think that's "required", but my personal opinion is to get EVERYTHING in writing, from the bios AND form the Social Workers, because then you are covered if someone "changes their mind" in the future. I had a Social Worker tell me I could let my foster son go to sleep-overs at friends houses at my discretion, but she was reluctant to put it in writing. That raised some red flags.

We take ours to church with us, but never had any parent complain. If it was a problem I would think the caseworker would have to find somewhere for the child while you go worship...I asked one time and had the response of "well, you can't leave them home alone."

For those of you that don't take foster kids to church where do they go for that time?
