out of the mouth of babes
My daughters have bunkbeds, and from the top bunk the girls can reach the ceiling fan, if they reach far enough.
I walked in last night to check on them and they were tossing things on the fan to watch it get zinged thru the air... My comment." girls I better not catch you doing that again or I will take the bunk beds down" My 5yr olds comment."oh mommy I wont let you catch me if I hear you coming I will hurry up and stop" Need less to say I did catch her again and she had the priviladge of sleeping on the floor last night.. |

Thats a good one. Clever, aren't they?
My son this weekend was in the kitchen on his stool so he could reach the counter. I turned my back on him to get my coffee and when I turned back he had a mini reeses in his mouth. I said "you CANNOT eat candy for breakfast" "but I ARE mommy" he said with his mouth full of chocolate. |

I got one
My 9 y/o got a bag of candy at school for Valentine's Day. The bag is in my room but T doesn't know it. He had been asking for it and I told him I didn't know where it was. One day he was searching the living room saying he was looking for his bag. I told him I threw it away. He went back upstairs and a little while later came down and said "I know you said you threw the bag away, but did you throw the candy inside of it away too?". I thought that was funny.

LOL These stories are too cute. I remember one morning I got up and noticed the pantry door was open and a chair next to it. I look in and the box of oreo's was missing. I go to my son rooms and he is quietly sitting on his bed. Looks up with eyes wide open and his mouth covered of choc. Like an idiot I asked if he got into the cookies. He says no. Then I ask, where are you hiding the cookies...he says "In my mouth momma". I respond with a smile "I see"

These are making me laugh out loud. When my nephew was potty training he would get one M & M each time he went on the toilet. One day he grabbed three from the bowl and took off running. My sister chased him and said only one. He said I only have one, one blue, one red and one yellow. Too smart and too funny!

My son when he was three had some speech issues. He would say things like "Me go outside", "Me want that", etc. He was going to speech to learn to say "I want to go outside", "I want that". He was so proud of himself one day when he said "I want a cookie". He looked right at me and said "Me said I!!".

These are so cute!
Aaron and I were walking into the daycare a few weeks ago, when he pointed at a little boy and said sort of snarkily, "He's just a baby. He's in the three year old class." I said, "Well, don't be mean about it, back in the olden days, YOU were in the threes! Aaron looks right at me and says, "Well, now it is the NEWEN days, and I am in the FOURS!" |

These are GREAT! Laughing reduces stress and I have a feeling this is gonna turn out to be a long thread!
My 3-yr-old grandaughter announced to everyone "I cut the cheese!" and then followed that with "Would anyone like some?" We were just rolling on the floor!

My 3.5 year old BS walked into our bedroom one morning and farted and yelled out "hey Dad there is your morning kiss" and started to laugh as he jumped on the bed! You have to love the things kids come out with.

This is my 4 year old daughter speaking:
(Daddy said he was making spaghetti for supper.) "Good, cause I love meat and I love balls." (I was scratching her back.) "Ahhhh, that's the chicken." (I was telling her how much I love her.) "Mommy, I love you all the way to the planet poodle." How can you not smile? ![]() |

I was making a list of cleaning supplies that I needed so that I could go to the dollar store and get them. My 4 year old fd asked could she go, so I said sure. She then asks if she could get something at the store too. So I said if I have enough money left over that she could. Bless her little heart, she then says I know where I can get some money, so I said where? She said "you said you were going to the dollar store didn't you" too funny, lol.

My newest fs clicked onto the getting kisses for boo-boos right away and never hesitates to ask for a kiss no matter how big or small the boo-boo is.
I was picking him up from daycare and he was just coming out of the bathroom crying because his penis had gotten caught in the waistband of his underwear. I quickly adjusted his clothes, then stood there, dumbfounded with a red face as the workers howled when he asked for a kiss for his 'boo-boo'!
