Seven Heaven omg!!!
I'm back....I have been away from the forum for a while and it is great to be back. The last time I was here, we were the proud new parents of our a-son. He was then six years old and now he is a blossoming ten year old. My oldest b-daughter is now 20 years old and in her 2nd year in college. Well now we are at it again!!!!! Back in February we were matched with a sibling group of 2 toddlers (12mos and 22 mos 10 months apart) girls to foster/adopt. We originally were looking for a much older age group but we could not turn down these beautiful babies. Things really changed in our home because both are still in pampers
We were so excited to be new parents again but we were in for a big surprise. In May were were told by our case worker that they had 2 older siblings also in foster care ages 5 girl and 6 boy and would we consider taking them also to keep them all together. We must have bumped our head or something because within a week they were in our home. There was no way we could break up these kids....we had the room (6 bedrooms). Well just when we were building our happy family, we received another call....guess what? There is another child from the same sibling group that was born December of 2006. A little girl 10 months younger than the youngest we already had.Well we bumped our heads again. We now have a 12 month old girl, a 22 month old girl, a 2year old girl,a 5 year old girl, a 6 year old boy in addition to our 10 year old son and 20 year old daughter. Life is pretty wild in our home but we would not trade it for anything!!!! We will be finalizing soon!!! |
