I've fostered for 2 years 8 months. I've had 3 placements - adopted 0 thus far.

I fostered for 9 years back in the 90's and had 8 kids, 4 of them twice. I adopted the 2 youngest. As of Tues., I will be fostering the girls' baby brother.

I have fostered for 1 year 10mths. I have done respite for 4 kids ( a few times each). I have had 5 placements. I do not plan to adopt but who knows. Never say never.

I've only been fostering for 3 months now, and have had 1 placement this entire time, that we still have. Parents are being TPR'd but there is a grandmother or cousin that want him. If things don't work with them we WILL adopt.

We have been fostering since August/02 (so 5 years).

We've had approx. 20 children (not including respite); 3 of those, we had twice.

We didn't get IN it to adopt, but we are in the process of adopting child #6, who's been here just shy of 4 years.

We are NOW an actual "foster-to-adopt" home and are hoping to have a newborn as our next placement. The majority of our kids have been boys (save 2) from about 18 mos to 14 years.

We have fostered 15 months. We have had 6 placements, first five were all brothers and sisters 4 were here for 13 months we were hoping to adopt them. They got a second chance to be a family with the bio mom at the tpr trial, after being chins for three years.
