Indiana - Clothing Vouchers

We received a clothing voucher for one of our FS from Marion County in Indiana. Can anyone tell me what stores accept these Vouchers?

Just call the office and ask. it all dependes on each county, and who they hold a credit account with. make sure you have plenty of time to wait.

Yup, I'd ask the county.. I know my county normally goes with Target or Meijers.. But when I asked them if I could get some of it for Kohl's they got in touch with them and worked it out for me

oh my! They actually give vouchers?? My office here in LA just hands me a check when I ask for one. It's amazing to see the differences county to county.

Well, I use to be a Marion Co. foster parent, and I filled mine at Wal-Mart and K-mart, but that was back in the 90's. Ask your licensing worker.

voucher

I recieved a vaoucher in april 2006 and the only place that still took them was Value City. Walmart stated that they had so many problems with them that they had to stop taking them. Kmart just said no, no explanation. I called case worker and she told me about Value City. The clerks were really nice about it and help me spend as close to limit as could because they said the problem comes in when people dont use it all (within a dollar is what they asked me to do). I was able to get some pretty reasonable things considering he came with nothing anything was better.
