Happy Day
After spending 7 hours waiting in the court for a 5 min hearing we got TPR. We are pretty confident there will not be an appeal, but we still sit cautiously. We have had an adoption worker for about 6 months now so we are pretty much done with all of our paper work that needs to be completed.
A question I have is when does the 60 day appeal day start? From the date of the court hearing? The judge said I am signing it right now? What does that mean? Any help or insight would be appreciated.

yes, it is from the day the judge signs the tpr.. or at least it was that day for us.

It starts from the day he signs the order, some judges verbally order tpr and dont actualyy sign for 30 days. the fact that he signed right away is a good thing for your family

Thank you for your help with this. Thru all the tears and emotions I could possibly feel yesterday there are a few words I specifically remember him saying and he said " I am signing it right now" so we are thankful for that. Hopefully the adoption will go very quickly.
