Previous Placements FS 2 and FD 6 months, ru with parents, later returned to foster care system.  Newborn Girl only here one week Newborn Girl here for two months

Fantastic!!! Please party and rejoice for us all!
My chilren said the only thing they wanted for Christmas was to be adopted. Unfortunately I can't give them that. We have been in appeals over 6 months now and the adoptions worker told us to think June as far as adoption goes. I can't wait for the day.

CONGRATULATIONS! You must be on cloud nine!!
There is something so sweet about each adoption out of foster care. I always have an enormous sense of relief to accompany my joy at the news of each adoption-----a sense of "whew, another one out of the fire!" You have done a great thing in dealing with the system on behalf of a little girl. And it sounds like you've gotten a WONDERFUL reward, in the form of a forever daughter! Congrats!
