We got our date!
We thought by now it would be impossible to get our adoption date before Christmas, but thanks to a very prompt and efficient attorney, we will be finalizing our adoption of B this Thursday, December 21st!

2007 marks 10 years that we've been on our journey to parenthood, so we couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present and greeting for the new year.

Oops, I should clarify... it did not take 10 years to adopt this little girl (she's only 2 and we've had her 17 months), but 10 years overall to achieve parenthood. :/

We are also adopting on the 21st!! We have had our foster daughter for 2 years, since she was 7 days old, and we were told wouldn't be able to adopt her until February, but due to our attorney she pushed for before Christmas. Ours is at 1:10pm. I will be thinking of you and the joy we will both be sharing that day!! 2007 would mark our 6 year journey to parenthood. YAY US!!!
