What to do when reports go without follow up?

My nieces have been working hard in therapy and had reported some of the things that have happened. A hotline was done two weeks ago...and still nothing has taken place with either the police, the state dcfs office or the foster agency.

WHY??? these offenses were first brought up before both two years ago and four years ago.

I'm beginning to wonder if the bios don't have connections within the legal/police department. NO one is taking these things seriously.

The girls are in foster care but yet no one has come to talk to the girls or to me about the issues.

What do I do? or is there nothing i can do ?

Help
K.

Take it up the chain. Call your worker. If that doesn't work call her supervisor. If that doesn't work call HER supervisor.

AmyAnne is right - go up the chain - clear to the head honcho of DCF. I've gone clear to county supervisors to get answers - and it works. It's horrible to have to be this way - but this is how the system works. So you have to learn to work the system. Just like the Bio's do.
