I don't know where to start. I am just so hurt and devistated. We were asked to take 3 babies (1,2,3) three weeks ago because the foster home they are in is sabotaging the bio mom's progress. She is very close to having them returned.

The problem appears to be mostly with the cw who won't return my calls and has canceled last minute twice just before they were to be dropped off. I have talked to my other cw who filled me in on the fact that there is another sib group of 2 (also with unfit FP's) they also wanted to place here as well. This was the last straw! No one had even contacted me about them so our family could even decided which group was best for all of us. I have even talked to the director of the agency about this. Let's say I had "enlightened" her but is didn't solve the problem. Today again at the 11th hour, the 3 babies to be dropped off was canceled. Monday the director will be notified again. Confrontation is not my strong suit. I just dread it.

I should be flattered I am in such demand but I just feel used and chewed up. Thanks for reading my "vent". Pray I learn to Just Say No!

That definitely IS a lousy way to treat you. But what concerns me more is the two "unfit" foster homes. First, I have to wonder WHY there would be two unfit foster homes even licensed and being placed with children? My next question would be in the lack of professionalism in the agency telling one foster home that another is unfit. It really makes me wonder if there is some serious problem with the agency here, and perhaps the foster homes in general are victims. Maybe the two that have been deemed "unfit" are simply being treated as badly and unfairly as you are being treated!

I would agree. It is definatly wrong no matter how I rationalize it.

Neither home is acctually a family licensed withour agency. I do know that 1 home is relative care and is working hard to sabotage the bio mom for personal reasons. The 2nd home is licensed through DCFS and is being barrowed by our agency. They have the siblings to my fd (with me 2 months) and they were hoping to keep them together. If I understand right, the family has asked for them to be removed on several occasions before I got the sister but recanted. It is now becoming a huge issue and I am not sure why. I am only getting bits and pieces of it form many sides.

We had just switched agencies on top of this. Our previous one was in a lot of hot water with DCFS and were on the verg of haveing it's doors closed. This new one we are with is a very Christian organization and came highly recomended. They didn't just change the paperwork. We had to start all over. Just the verification process with 2 pastors (ours and theirs) and references from 7... yes 7! of our closest friends to make sure we were Christians and commited to fostering. The staff has just a riggorous interview process. That is why I am at my witts end. If they are not being forthright, who will?
