Latest update on my fainting baby..

Well we finally saw the cardiologist last week.. He did a chest xray & EKG.. Both appeared normal. He had just read the echo report (stating everything looked fine ) and hadn't actually looked at the pictures.. When we told him that the tech said "Ohh there's your problem" his eyes got really big and he said he'd go look over the pictures himself! While he is not convinced that the fainting is heart related (I also mentioned the turning pale & sweating while eating and he spouted some nonsense about everyone having different metabolisms..) he did send us home on a heart monitor so we can have an actual report when the baby faints again. We go back in 6wks to go over the reports and he'll make the decision on whether it's actually heart related or not.. Of course the rotten little stinker hasn't fainted since we brought the monitor home LOL! Just my luck huh?! He does have therapy on Weds and last time his therapist made him pass out.. lol Maybe that will work again!

Another thing the dr mentioned was in his chest xray that his Thymus gland still looks enlarged.. This was the whole reason we started going to the children's hospital when he was 2mo! The dr said it should be getting smaller at this point so he's going to do another chest xray when we go back & if it's still the same or any bigger then he will refer us to a specialist.. He did comment that since this is out of his field of speciality, he wasn't 100% sure whether the thymus was on the very large side of the scale but still acceptable , or over the edge into abnormally large. Does anyone have any experience with an enlarged thymus gland in an infant??

Last thing, I promise! LOL! FS's Bdad was released from prison last week.. Coincidentally his Bmom was arrested on the same day! lol! Go figure?! So now we are just waiting to see if/when Bdad will contact DFC for visits. The wait is agonizing!

Thanks for listening!

Hey Kelly,

Not sure if you've checked your e-mail, but let me know if we're getting together tomorrow or not.
