New here and have questions regarding ODD

Hi everyone! My husband and I just received our foster/adoption license on Sept. 26th. Our caseworker called today regarding a placement of a 2yrd old and a 6 yr old little girl. They are currently in a home, but the foster mom is asking that they be removed beacuse the two year old throws tantrums. They think she may be ODD. Does anyone have experience dealing with this? Would you recommend taking this placement?

Her problem could be everything from 2 yr behaviors made worse by stress to attachment problems. ODD can be a symptom not necessarily the main problem. If you have to make up your mind quickly whether or not you have parented before, how open you are to getting your child therapy, your support network, how strong your marriage, to name a few. If you have time to make your decision I would request a complete physiological and developmental evaluation. Let us know what you decide.
