Should add to the Grandma post...
The grandmother was impressive. She dressed very well in business attire and heels. I was also impressed she didn't immediately "rush" Baby S, but stood back appropriately and let the baby adjust to her.
For that, I was thankful. I hope, if this is the placement they have in mind, she will be good to her and maintain the placement without handing her over to the biological mother.

I hope she's as good as she seems! That is very encouraging. I always do wonder the same thing about grandparent placements, though. Same with A's little brother and sister - mom has had her rights terminated and grandparents are getting the kids..but mom is going to be living in the same house. How does that work exactly? I guess they are just trusting the gp's not to leave the children alone with the mom, and such, but it seems risky to me.
