For some reason I am feeling the need for a lighthearted thread again. Actually, I think it is nice when we can get to know our friends better.

For those willing to 'expose' themselves I put forth the following:

My answers are: 1. green beans, 2. fuschia, 3. it is a photo of a quilt block I made, 4. I polish both my fingernails and toenails and love to have them airbrushed or decalled, 5. I am a seltzer water kind of girl.

4. Do you polish your fingernails? Toenails? What about airbrushing or decals?Sometimes my fingernails, I have to be in the right mood. Always my toenails, even in winter. Only airbrushed when I have fake nails, then I get the french manicure airbrushed.

But I switched to diet pepsi last year, and like a pp said, I lost a bunch of weight (ok, I started eating better too, but the soda change helped). I can't stand regular soda now...yuk! But I also like gatoraid and gatoraide rain.

It's been a while since I've been on here...I'm glad this was here, it makes coming back a lot of fun!

I'm more of a lurker , but in an effort to let people get to know me better... I wanna play!

1) My favorite food is General's Chicken (spicy Asian dish) or just about anything spicy.
2) My favorite color is green - in any shade.
3) Yes, my avatar and signature both reflect my personal mantra to try and stay positive / happy.
4) I usually manage to keep toes done during sandal weather, but all other times it is clear on top and bottom. Can't get too fancy with my life / schedule...
5) I am a water person. Like previous posters, I used to drink regular Pepsi, but switched to diet (and thanks to eating healthier too) lost a ton of weight (100+ lbs). Then I made the switch to water and only have a diet soda if I really need the pick-up. Plus it helps me limit the kids' sodas if they don't see me drinking it every time when they can't.

This was fun... I enjoy reading other's responses and seeing how totally normal we all seem in spite of our chosen lives, LOL!

He shoves crispy choc chip cookies in his mouth yelling "COOOOOOOKIES" in a cookie monster voice. Crumbs fly everywhere! She gets such a kick out of it...she cracks up laughing. It always puts a smile on her face and brings her out of her bad mood or bad day (she's had a rough life). She's now 8 and every time she sees us she BEGS for him to do! It's hysterical.

Confessions of a nail biter, they usually look like heck. I started wearing acrylic nails and have French manicure.

Sweet tea. It's a Southern thing, and even though I was born here and raised up north, I love it.
