Something Really Scarey happened to me lastnight
This is so crazy you guys.
A Friend and I were outside changing my tire that had got a flat. We had notice two ladies walking past but really didnt pay much attention to it. So when we got done changing the flat, i was placing the tire in my trunk and the two ladies approached me and said " I know who your kids mother is, her name is ____" She then proceeded to say " You name is ___ and Your kids names are ___ and ____" I said " WHAT" She said "______ has been watching you and she know where you live"( SHE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO KNOW WHERE I LIVE) They said " I fear for you in the kids, she has talked about getting them back. She has connections in the is neighboorhood, and we have know you and wanted to tell you, but didnt know how he also said " im just telling you this because the kids safety, i dont want something to happend, so be aware." Omg guys my heart and droped like a million times. I felt so violated and every level. im scared. I talked to the social worker she told me to write everything down and that this info can ruin her case.

Do you live in a small town? Would it be possible to talk to the police dept about this?

That is extremely scary. Is there any other action you can take? I mean police involvement or something like that? I haven't done foster placement so not sure what actions would be able to be taken.

Is it possible to get a restraining order? I know that it's just a piece of paper that not everyone pays attention to, but at least it would be on record that she isn't supposed to be anywhere near you or your home.

My experience - I got a restraining order on my previous birth mother's boyfriend and it made everything much worse. And it is only a piece of paper.

I really would think long and hard about sending the kids back to social services. They are still wards of the state and if those people have that much information about you and your household I would think hard about it.

Is there assured to be tpr and an adoption for you? I am curious as to why you call them son and daughter and have what I assume are their real names posted. But surely those are pseudonyms?

I know it is very scary!
I contacted our local police, who notified all officers of foster children living in our home. Additionally I had a notation put on at 911 that any responding officer would be notified of foster children in the home with possible birthparent issues. Diane

Prayers for you and your family. My first instinct would be to report it to the police so that they have a record of this contact. If you trust your sw, I would bounce the idea off of her. Keep safe.

Wow, that is freaky. I wonder who these people were... Gosh, angels?? Anyway, it's much better you have the warning than not. I wonder how information was leaked. Do the kids have visits?
