TPR trial today!!!

We have the TPR trial for our 4 today.I have been up since 4:30 this morning and can not go back to sleep.I feel sick to my stomach.
I know this is crazy.
I do feel bad for bmom,I know she loves her children but she just cant take care of them.I do not even think they are going to let her have a goodbye visit, her therapist said she should have nothing to do with the kids after TPR.
I will post after we get home!!

hang in there

I remember the morning of our TPR hearing. I was a basket of nerves.

Hang in there, It will be okay. Our son's bio mom was not given a goodbye visit either, she was on her way to jail the morning she signed surrenders, However bio dad was given a goodbye visit. It was only an hour and we were allowed to be there and so was two social workers.

Good luck
Jody

Good luck to you. I will be thinking and praying for all involved.

Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE have to go back to court in August 30th!!!!!!
They continued it because they have to post for dad.
I do not think we are ever going to be through all this!!!

Mom refused to sign even if We allowed her contact. She did however offer us a chance to babysit when she gets the kids back WHAT??
we also found out she has"a few" other children. I guess one of them bdad has him and the others or how many we do not know. They are older the F(she is 8)
So we will just hang in there.Oh they did say we can home school!! So I am happy about that.

OMG! That's just crazy! You'd think the state would know how many kids they had! I guess nothing should surprise us anymore though.

And how kind of her offer for you to babysit. I'm not the kind of person to sit back and not say anything, but I think in that situation I would have just laughed at her.

My dh and I just kinda looked away.I can not belive how delousional (?)she is. She could not even remember how old K was when he was taken into care. After we left she asked CW if she could get her visits back NO!!!!! your therapist doesnt even want you to have mail contact with them hello!!!!!

I just hope we can get this over before Christmas!!LOL I have a feeling that even after TPR she will file an appeal so we will have to wait for that as well.I could be wrong but I doubt it.

Sorry to hear about the turn of events. Just know that it WILL happen. That is awseome that you took a sibling group . My daughter M has three siblings we know (although can't have contact with one any more). She also has 4 other half siblings we no NOTHING about...not ages, genders, names. And I am sure there will be more half sibs on both sides (bmom and bdad). It is tough. Why can't they order (and eforce) these people to be on long-term birth control .

Anyway, you are stil very close to the end. I understand appeals are almost neve won. But I know it is really hard waiting and not having the certaintly and permenance that comes with finalization. Hang in there!

Deb - how frustrating for all of you. I am so sorry it's being drawn out like this. I am very glad they've OKd the homeschooling - that is excellent news!!!

How are the kids doing with all this?
