Question Are we crazy for even considering it?

I went to take TB to a visit today, and when I got there, his CW told me that she was probably going to be going to remove 3 kids before the week is up, and she can't find any place for them... She asked if we would consider taking them....
Ok here is the catch it is twin boys age 2 and a 1 year old girl ...

Am I crazy for considering taking them?

In the mean time, for the last couple of weeks I have been going nuts thinking about getting a girl again....

WOW - I know many that have done it. Any chance of getting a DOB for the twins? a young 2 vs and older 2 is a pretty big difference (plus I have found that my agency just looks at the year of the DOB doesn't actually figure the real age. My youngest was called to us as a 5 yr old, but in truth she was only 4 (and missed the kindergarten cut off)

Thumbs up GOTTA LOVE THEM TWINS and BABY SISTERS!!

I say as long as you love a challange then go for it! My twin boys were only 18 months old when our adopted daughter was born. We did have tons of help then too. The older kids were 16,14,11,10,10,9 bio and foster. I can say that the foster kids really bonded with them. They are driving me crazy now at 3 years and the baby will be 2 next week. They get along like anyother siblings and love to keep me guessing who will be the next one down the stairs in the laundry basket! LOL ( Yes, it happened last week!EEEKS!)

Best of Luck and remember your mommy time and time away with daddy time too. Without that I would be really crazy! LOL

I would probably have to say yes. But then my family tells me every day that I am crazy LOL. Like the pp said ask the age of the twins, there is a big difference at that age from just turned 2 to almost 3.

Well, I talk to CW today, and the twins just turned 2 and girl just turned 1... It could possibly be a temp. placement, as they have family that they are looking to for placement...
But I think that if it is not going to be temp. Sadly I am going to have to say no.. I just don't think I could handle twin 2 year olds boys, a 19 month old boy, a 1 year old girl, a 8 year old boy, a 12 year old boy, and a 13 year old boy... We couldn't even all fit in my mini-van with all of those car seats... Besides that my boys are very active in sports, and I don't see any way that I alone could take all of those babies to the ball field....

I know it sucks saying no but sometimes you have to say no for your sanity's sake ( what's left of it after dealing with the system)

When we started this we wanted one child, which we had for 15 months- then I wanted another - now we have two fost adopt boys 3 & 4 and I can't wait for a baby - once you're in - it's like what the he** - what's one more. They're like potato chips, you can't just have one....lol

And with every placement my family questions my sanity
