House to Quiet Need Another Placement
While I love my 8 month old fs I really wish they would call me for another placement, I think this has been the longest I have gone between new placements. (I am not going to count the little boy we only had less than 24 hours) I was told that our county always has alot of newborns with very few foster parents for newborns, so how come I haven't been called for a newborn since March. I am not a very patient person and I am tired of jumping at the phone every time it rings.

Call your placement worker and remind her that you still have an opening.

The problem is there are many placement workers not just one. But yes I think I will call today.

Twin you are up at 4am pining for another baby? Oh dear, you have got it bad! I will say a prayer that you get a call soon. I take 'J' for a visit with her b-mom today. Any last minute advice?

Finished MAPP classes August 2005. 2nd home visit Feb 13th 2006 Safety inspection Feb 20th. Licenced May 20th Got Baby 'J' Wednesday May 24th 2006!   She is so Beautiful. We love her so! Well I did decide to call and guess what! I am getting a 2year old boy tonight, another foster home asked for him to be moved last friday and they just hadnt gotten around to working on it yet.

Congrats!! I wish they would call about our fkids baby sib....we have no idea were bmom is. If she has flown the coop and left the state like we predict, we probably won't get the baby, but in the meantime I pray she's here, just "hiding". She's due anytime we are guessing.....she never gave a due date, just said about how far along she was to SW. Could have already had the baby.

thank you everyone, and I know this is wrong but after I agreed to take the 2year old they were trying to place a newborn and I missed out on the baby. I dont know why but I like the tiny ones.
However the 2 year old is so great, just loves to play and talk, when my husband got home from work he ran up to him and gave him a hug. The real funny thing is he keeps calling us grandma and grandpa I didnt think I looked that old LOL.
