....cats that is. Gracie I adopted from the animal shelter, Dexter was my foster kitty that I decided must be mine despite his short life expectancy, Shamrock is strictly an "emergency" foster placement - she'd been very angry while at Petsmart so needed to be in a proper home, and Cameron is Dexter's younger sibling who shares his heart disease - his current "foster mom" is going out of town and needs to have him somewhere where he can be pilled successfully so I happily volunteered.
Hopefully if all goes well I will have a proper child to foster and adopt soon - except possibly for Cameron on occasion, I think by then I'll be out of the foster kitty "business" so I can focus on my child/childrn. I just thought the parallels were ironic!
