Washingtton State Foster/Adopt familie
Hello,
I have 2 beautiful girls with me right now that have only been with me 7 weeks. The older girl "N" is 9 but she has type 1 diabetes. The younger girl "J" is 5 and she is very sweet and loving with an insecure attachment. I recently had major surgery and am having a great deal of difficulty caring for them. The older girl needs a SAHM because there are times a foster mom could get called to her school to adjust her medications, etc... The older girl has long dark straight brown hair with big blue eyes and long lashes. She is thin/medium stature and is small to medium height. The younger girl is a tiny little blonde hair blue eyed girl who is 5.5 but wears a 4T to 5T. She is a joy to parent and love. Again, I want to keep them but I am having really great difficulty caring for them and caring for myself since the surgery. If you are a foster parent looking for potential adoptive kids, please email me. Thank you! |

Have you spoken with their worker? Wouldn't it be the worker's job to find their next placement? I would think you could possibly get in a little (or A LOT of) trouble for offering them online to anyone interested...

I am a social worker too. I have an MSW and am an adoption social worker part time and a prior CPS social worker. I am trying to find out if there are other people who are in our area who may be interested and then I would refer them to the social worker. These girls are EXTREMELY difficult to place because of the older girls health issues.
I apologize if I offended you. ![]() |

No, you didn't so much offend me as worry me!!!
I guess I've never seen a post like yours and it caught me off guard. But, with your credentials, it seems that you would know if what you are doing is okay, so I'll shut up! I hope your girls find their forever family and I hope your health improves! Good luck on all counts. Sorry I jumped to conclusions. |
