Yep, they have been tugged all weekend!
Our first weekend visit with M went really well. My dh and I had a talk with him about our intentions. We told him that we just started the paperwork and have not yet been approved for anything but our intentions are to foster with the itent to adopt.
Through out the weekend though he would ask" where would I sit at the table if I were to live here" or "would my last name be *** if I were adopted" etc - just so hopeful.
During our talk we told him he could call us whatever he was comfortable with...and my DH jumped in and said "yeah, you can call us Mr.**, Mrs** or use our first names" and M said "what about dad and mom" and my heart tugged again and we said - sure , whatever u want.
And this morning I heard someone call out to me "mom, watch me make a touchdown" and I thought - who is that, it's not my bio son. And I looked and it was M - heart tugged again.
Because it just makes me think about how much he wants to just call someone mom - even if it's a person he just met 2 days ago.

Looks like we are able to take him again this weekend - to celebrate his 13th b-day!
It was hard dropping him back off at the home after laying emotions out on the line all weekend.
