Our foster/adopt group found a cool website for foster parents. Not sure if anyone has posted this already. Looks like it's a new site and doesn't have all the states yet, but appears to be adding them as people make requests.

People can post items they need or are giving away for free to foster parents. Cribs, strollers, clothes, anything really. It's just for foster parents. Site is free to use. You just need to register.

Just thought I would pass it along. I don't think I can post websites, but PM me and I'll send it to you.

Yes, free sites are welcome and encouraged - especially free sites that support adoption and foster care!

Just make sure the site doesn't have a retail aspect

The link has no advertisements. It was set up by a foster parent. Don't know the person, but what a great guy! They are looking for moderators for each region. He also has a poster you can print to advertise the site.

There isn't much on there yet, but hopefully the word will get out for all of us.

One tip: To post new items/requests find the state, click on that, and then click on the county below it (if there is one). Then you will get the button to add posts. (Learned that the long way).
