BMom arrested! Will visits change?

Our 20 month old fson just started court ordered unsupervised visits with his mom. They had 2 visits (1 per week) that I felt went really well. I was getting all prepared (mentally) for him to be going home in April. Today the GAL emailed me and said Mom was arrested on Saturday and is still in jail! Now I have to wonder will that change Mom's visits? Will they go back to supervised? It seems the roller coaster has begun! Anyone else had something like this happen so close to reunifcation?

Hmmm, depending on what she's in for, I think it could very well effect reunification! If she is supposed to show sobriety and she's in on a drug charge, that's not going to look so hot for her.

Oh, this will almost definately affect things! Whatever she did, she engaged in illegal behavior, which will reflect very badly on her. Call whatever facility she is being held at; arrest information is public information. Good luck!

Not good, not good at all!

For us our bparents were suppose to just stay out of trouble, ALL trouble. It's engaging in illegal activity so it will reflect badly.

Update: We heard from the caseworker. They have court ordered the visits changed to supervised. Mom is still in jail. Now Mom will have to complete a offenders Domestic Violence Class. Becasue she was the offender. So for now our baby will stay with us and will not be going home in April. He will be with us a year in June! He has a baby sister that is now in protective custody and sheltered with the BMoms sister. We are wondering how long that will last. Thanks for the messages. Jenny
