I had a melt down...
I had a melt down this afternoon and we have not even gone to the first class yet. I get a call from the lady who does the training classes. She could not understand why we were signed up to start on the 15th b/c that is the 3rd core training class. I told her that is not how it was explained to me. We had the option of starting on the 8th, 13th, or 15th. We choose the 15th, got a baby sitter for all 9 classes, and withdrew my oldest out of swim class for us to attend. She told me she would call me back, someone goofed somewhere. Being the emotional basket case that I am I call my husband crying that this is not meant to be, what are we doing... He calls the woman back and was firm with her and he straigtned everything out. We are taking the classes all out of order and have to only go one week longer than we thought. I am never going to make it through this.... with our other daughters adoptions I ended up on anti-depressants, go figure!

shy_bear- Hang in there! These are stressful times, but you'll get through them. Just take things one day at a time and do what you can to hold on to your sanity!
Sounds like your DH will be a big help throughout this process!

Shy_Bear I definitely don't speak from experience but some adoptive moms on another board I post on mentioned feeling a form of PPD with adopting, so sounds like you definitely are not alone.
This hurdle was cleared without too much effort, and I bet the others will too. You can make it though, absolutely. Like Kate said, just take some time, relax, and breathe.
