I am wondering what do you do when bmom shows up to visits 1) late 2)looks as if she is HIGH 3) wont use sippy cup you provide and lets fs drink from a bottle(like a juice bottle) when he is suppose to only drink very watered down juice and spills it all over him(he is only 29 months)?

I have posted this before but am so mad everytime I go to get an outfit for him and OH yes that is another one that she let ruin.

Can I ask the people that supervise the visits to say something to her?
DO I have to leave him if I think she is HIGH?
Should I dress him in clothes that have stains?(which I do NOT like to do.I would not let bio kids out of the house with stained clothes)
We still do not have a case worker it hsa been 2 months since our worker quit.We were suppsoe to go to staffing in Dec but because we did not have a cw it was put off,now they are saying oh it will happen the end of Jan.HOW can it happen if we still do not have a worker????

Then with our other little ones the new cw hasnt been out to see them yet even though she makes appointments she calls 30 min after she is to be here saying that she had a run away and has to take care of that imm.
I want to say something to her superviser but dh says not to rock the boat.I feel if she is not coming out here to do her check then she will not keep up the checks on bps.I told dh I would give her 1 more week and if she has "more runaways" that same week then I am going to ask for another worker.

WHO is supervising visits??? If it is you, make SURE that you call a supervisor if you have the slighest inkling that the bmom is high! It sounds like the mom might need some parentling skills- advice on what is age appropriate, I'd go with older clothes for the visits.

I'd be calling up the chain for this child's worker's (I get she is gone) supervisor. There should be one! Keep going up if you need to. It should not be seen as rocking the boat...

In California, we are not allowed to have visits with people who appear high.

I would definitely go up the chain of command if you don't have a sw. (Isn't that illegal?)

Perhaps you can have visits at DCFS and have it supervised with CW when you get one?

the visits are at a center where they supervise.I do not know for sure she is high she just has all the looks: glassy eyes red eyes,slurred speech,cant remember kids names,etc.

So I do not know if I can stop the visits do I just bring it to the attention of the worker at the visit?Just tell her I think mom is high?
Mom has done nothing on her case plan,last court hearing she was ordered to have drug test within 24 hours she never showed up! Could not even tell judge her new address.
I do not mind rocking the boat,I am the one who took on placement along with GAL to get the sibs of my other 2 placed with us( we lost but I fought) so I do not mind causing waves!

I would never sit back and let it slide if I thought bmom was high! I'd make a stink! If she cannot even remember the name of her child! That's a bit over the edge!

Can't remember the kids's names???? Scary! Where are the mandated reporters??? I'd see if the GAL could be at the next visit....
Isn't she in comtempt of court, too? When is your next court date? PLEASE be documenting all this! Be factual, not emotional!

Well my gripe worked!!!!! The visits have been suspinded until further notice The new case worker stated that by looking at the court papers from the visits were suppose to be stopped in DECEMBER!!!!!! Can you belive that??How could they let that slip by?

We are going in on March 15th for the review and change from reuni to TPR mom still has done nothing and this new case worker dosent seem like she messes around.
I know alot can still happen but I am so happy we can not wait to make this little guy ours forever!!
