A small twin update

Once again, thank you so much for giving me your thoughts and advice. This situation isnt something I can discuss with everyone...I find at times I am ready to burst with all of the thoughts racing through my mind. It feels good to get them all out.

K's social worker came today. It appears that the birth mother's social worker has closed her case since TPR is done. I wont be able to call him for info BUT K's worker told me where she is and she thinks it would be good to go and visit her. I am hoping to go this weekend. I made her a fleece blanket and want to bring it to her.

In regard to the twins......

Depending on where she gives birth. Her NEW case may go to another office. As a result, I may get over looked and the babies may go to another family. Uuuggghh!! The worker said she is going to tell the birth mother's GAL and attorney about me wanting to care for them. She is going to try and get the word out to as many people as she can.
Because of the location of her hospitalization her case WOULD got back to her old worker (its in the same town). If she gets transferred to a new facility in another town (which she may) it wont. It would either go to my current office or one that doesnt know I exist. Confusing huh?? So thats the hurdle I face in keeping the siblings together.
The worker is going to try and get the NEW potential case pulled into her office regardless of where the birth mother gives birth.

I am going to visit the birth mother this weekend. If they allow visitors. I am sure she will talk about her pregnancy and I will tell her I am willing to keep the sibling together. Once she hears that, its up to her to speak up if DSS takes her twins away. So this is where everything stands. I am going to do my best to keep on top of it.

I will post an update when I visit the birth mother in the psych ward. I am really nervous....I cant explain why

Just wondering...If bmom wants to keep the sibs together with you couldn't she just do a private adoption with you?

Hi Blessedbytwo121,

We will definately keep this in prayer!

Hang in there - and remember if it is in God's will, then mountains will be moved!
