Hello There Everyone My Name Is Tonya And I'm Just Starting The Foster Adopt Program, Me And My Husband Were Pregnant Last September And Had A Tubial Pregnancy, Since Then They Have Told Me That My Other Tube Was Blocked, And Wanted To Do Ivf, I'm Not To Sure About That So We Are Going Another Way, Anyways We Do Have A 13 Year Old Son Whom Is The Best, He Was Mine And 2 Years Ago My Husband Adopted Him, We Are A Very Young Couple We Think. 28 And 32 Him Being Younger Then Me. But I Great Husband And Father, We Are From The Mohave County Area In Arizona. Just Seeing How The Program Works If Anybody Has Had Good Luck With This Program, We Are Already Ahead Of The Steps Because We Had To Have A Home Visit And Other Things When My Husband Adopted Our Son

Welcome to the boards. I am new too. I found this board about 2 weeks ago. Right around the time I decided to do foster care. I wanted to read everyone's experiences. I have 2 little girls. One is adopted and the other is pending. In my state you either become a pre-adoptive home or foster home. I am currently on the process of converting over to strictly foster care. I am very excited and cant wait! Like you, I had an ectopic and also had 7 miscarriages.I have done many IVF's and I am sure if I continued, I may have eventually carried to term. My heart told me to stop and led me towards adoption/foster care. I havent looked back since!
