Tribute to my aunt.

I'm asking if everyone would please pray for my aunt, as well as for my family. My aunt is such a good and loving woman. My aunt has been a foster parent for almost 45 years. Most of her placements were the hard to place kids. There have been hundreds of kids to pass thru her house. Some she even adopted. All the kids that stayed long enough graduated H.S. Most went on to college. Each child was uniqe and special. Each child was treated as their own. They have 5 kids of their own. My aunt lost her husband 15 years ago, one of her daughters to cancer 1 year ago. This woman who is so fondly referred to as moma Teen, had to stop fostering because of a heart attack. Her health has been going down hill since. She is now laying in a hospital bed waiting to take her last breath, but still she smiles. She will never be forgotten, and will always be loved by many.

There was always at least once in a day
when you'd find time, to come and play.
You dried our eyes, and held us close
knowing at that moment, what we needed most.
A word of encouragement, a tender smile,
always beside us, treading the miles.
Now as you prepare to leave this earthly place
to stand before the LORD, to look upon His face.
Know that we will love you, in everything we do,
And everytime we see a smile, we will think of you.

My aunt who has shared her heart, home, and family with so many is 80 years old!

When I logged on and set up all my info to post replies, my main concern was to let others know that they were in my prayers. Your aunt sounds like an AMAZING person. I am certain that she has been a blessing to so many people here on earth, especially children. I pray that she is at peace during her last days here on earth. I know that there is a special place in heaven for foster parents that have truly loved and cared for the less fortunate. I believe that children are on this earth to be loved and spoiled rotten!!! Your aunt has made a difference in the lives of many, and God will reward her for her unselfishness!!!

lots of prayers and love in Christ,
Beth

Beth- Thank you for your kind words. Yes she is an amazing woman to say the least. The doctors say it's just a matter of time now. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers.
